What is the "Mahfazati" app?
"Mahfazati" is a digital wallet app you can install on your smartphone. Once loaded with credit, it allows you to perform various financial transactions.
What are the benefits of using Mahfazati?
Avoid using cash. Open accounts in different currencies (ILS/USD/JOD). Conduct financial transactions without needing a bank account. 24/7 customer support service.
What should I do if I forget my password?
From the app's home screen, tap on “Forgot Password” and enter the required information correctly to reset your password: ID number Date of birth Mobile phone number Email address
Do I need to be connected to the internet to use Mahfazati services?
Not necessarily. You can pay a friend, pay a merchant, and use the cash withdrawal service without being connected to the internet or logging into your account, by using the QR code payment feature available on the app’s pre-login screen.
Can I have more than one wallet account?
According to the regulations of the Palestinian Monetary Authority, a user is allowed to have only one wallet account with the same service provider, and up to two accounts total across all payment service providers.
Are there any fees to open an account on the Mahfazati app?
No, opening an account on the Mahfazati app is completely free and incurs no fees.
Can I register using a non-Palestinian mobile number?
No, registration is only possible using Palestinian mobile numbers from Ooredoo or Jawwal.
Can I register using a passport or a foreign ID?
No, registration is only allowed using a Palestinian ID or a Blue ID for Palestinians inside Israel.
Why do I need to upload a photo of my ID and a personal photo?
To allow us to verify your identity and ensure the accuracy of the submitted information.
❓ What do I need to do to complete the registration process for the Mahfazati app?
There are two ways to complete your registration in the Mahfazati app — you can choose the one that suits you best: Print the agreement via the app, sign it, then choose an agent and deliver the signed document to them. Choose the nearest suitable agent, then visit them to complete account activation and sign the necessary documents.  
What should I do if I lose my mobile phone?
You should contact customer support at 1700999666, and we will deactivate your Mahfazati account to protect it from any unauthorized use.  
What should I do if I want to change the mobile number linked to my wallet account?
You need to submit a request to change your mobile number through the wallet app. A customer support representative will then contact you to complete the number change process.
Can my children under 18 register for the Mahfazati app?
Yes, through the Family Management feature, you can create wallet accounts for your children under 18, manage their balances, and set spending limits.

You can recharge your Mahfazati wallet balance through: One of our authorized agents The "Banky" app by Bank of Palestine The "Mobile Bank" app by the Arab Islamic Bank Cash deposit at ATMs using the Visa card issued through the app  
Can I send and receive money from or to outside of Palestine?
No, you can only send and receive money within the State of Palestine, in accordance with the regulations of the Palestinian Monetary Authority.
What are the limits for sending and receiving payments using the e-wallet?
The total maximum limits for e-wallets across all currencies are as follows: Maximum wallet balance at any time: $4,000 or equivalent. Maximum total for monthly payments and transfers: $4,000 or equivalent. Monthly top-up limit: $4,000 or equivalent. Monthly cash withdrawal limit: $1,000 or equivalent. Electronically opened wallets can be loaded up to $300, used for purchases only.
